NKR DEFENSE ARMY REFUTES AZERI MASS MEDIA REPORTS

"The Azerbaijani mass media reports on wounding of a lieutenant of
the Azerbaijani armed forces Akif Abdiyev as a result of a ceasefire
breach do not correspondent to reality. It is another failed attempt
to present Armenia as an aggressor," says the NKR Defense Army
Department for Information and Propaganda, ArmInfo's correspondent
to Stepanakert reported.
"In addition, on August 21 at 7:45pm the Azerbaijani armed forces
broke the cease fire in the east of the contact line, which resulted
in wounding of Nver Sargsyan (1980), the NKR Defense Army serviceman.
The serviceman underwent surgical operation and his health state is
satisfactory now. Investigation is underway," the NKR Defense Army
statement says.
