Armenia's Military Prosecutor has said that they are doing their
best to reveal the recent death of a conscript in a military unit
    in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Speaking to Tert.am on phone, Gevorg Kostanyan, who is currently
in that military unit, said all the investigation and police forces
there are involved in the case.

"On Sunday I went to the Yeghnikner military unit, went up to that
battalion and gave relevant recommendations to the operative group
    of investigators," said he.

According to the official version Aghasi Abrahamyan, a conscript from
Yerevan, was unconscious as he was taken to a military hospital on
August 26 and passed away at around 9:30 the same day. His relatives,
pointing to the bruises on this body, claim he was beaten to death.

Gevorg Kostanyan further said that he is currently in the same
battalion, while the other part of the group of investigators is
working in Karabakh's capital of Stepanakert.

"The circle of those people that were revealed has been brought
to Stepanakert. The group of investigators is working with them,"
    Kostanyan added.

Asked how many people are involved in the case, Kostanyan said:
"At this moment I cannot unveil such details, but there is a relevant
circle of people that we are working with."

Kostanyan also assured that they will be far more consistent in the
    investigation of this case.
