TIGRAN SARGSYAN SAYS 2012 TO BE THE YEAR OF DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE

The 2012 will also be the year of development of agriculture, Prime
Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today at the "ArmAgroForum" conference.
The prime minister stressed the importance of implementation of
agricultural programs with international organizations for the
development of the sphere. He said thanks to these programs the
farmers are getting new knowledge, technology.
"New management mechanisms will be applied in 55 communities of the
Republic with the assistance of the World Bank, collective economies
will be formed. The creation of cooperatives will be promoted, it
will increase the efficiency of the agriculture by 30% annually,"
the head of the government said, adding that the state will co-finance
the acquiring of agricultural technology by 50%.
The Prime Minister convinced that such like events will be implemented
in all the branches of agriculture - seed breeding, garden management.
