"WOMEN" FILM FESTIVAL KICKS OFF TODAY

The women, their problems, their role in the society, their ambitions
in language of movie will be presented today in Yerevan Puppet theatre
in the framework of the 8th international "Woman" film festival which
is aimed at covering women's problems through films.
As Mariam Ohanian, the organizer of the festival and director of
"Liza" fund told Aysor.am 52 films shot by women from 16 countries
are presented at the festival.
According to M. Ohanian master classes for the first time are to
be held on the sidelines of the festival. The master classes will
present representatives of American organization "Women shooting films"
Debra Zimmerman and Tracie Holder.
At the end of the festival the participants will get "Best Movie",
"Special Award", "Best Debut" awards and diplomas.
