TURKISH PM TRIES TO MISLEAD ALGERIANS - ALGERIA'S RULING PARTY

Turkey's PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who had voiced the Algerian
"genocide"-after the French National Assembly's passing of the bill
that criminalizes the denial of genocides, including the Armenian
Genocide-is again criticized by Algeria's ruling Democratic National
    Union Party.

The Party's spokesperson Miloud Chorfi stated that Erdogan and French
President Nicolas Sarkozy are from the same "colonial club," and
that Turkey was never alongside Algeria during the Algerian events,
    Firat News Agency informs.

Chorfi noted that by accusing France of committing "genocide" of the
Algerians, Erdogan is attempting to mislead the Algerians.

To note, the Algerian PM likewise had criticized the Turkish PM,
and had called upon him to not make a bargaining chip the blood
which the Algerians had shed. "Turkey has had some role in all the
killings France committed in Algeria. Turkey is a NATO member, and
France fought against the Algerian people with the weaponry of the
same organization. The Algerians were killed by the bullets which
Turkey manufactured," the Algerian PM had noted.
