The announcement of Armenian National Congress leader Levon
Ter-Petrosyan is not to be trusted because even after the announcement
by Ter-Petrosyan, the media supporting ANC conducted vast attack
against Heritage, the head of Heritage parliamentary group Stepan
Safaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, commenting on the announcement of
Ter-Petrosyan that the criticism target of ANC will be only ruling
    Republican Party.

According to Safaryan, either ANC's official disposition does not
correspond to that of Levon Ter-Petrosyan or they say one thing and do
    the contrary.

`This behavior proves the demand of Heritage that only the leaders of
the parties should sign the agreement of the joint pre-election
    coordinating headquarters,' Stepan Safaryan said.

Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008
after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in
Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon
Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18
    parties and political forces.

ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP
candidates with the majority election system.

Opposition Heritage Party is a liberal party founded in 2002. The
leader is the first Armenian Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian.

Heritage and Free Democrats Party are running for the parliament with
    joint proportional list.

The proportional list of the party includes members of
extra-parliamentary opposition Free Democrats Party and civil society
    representatives.

Heritage has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
