YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS: On the Independence Day of Israel -
April 26, Israeli President Shimon Peres will hand an official
appreciation diploma to 23-year-old air force sergeant Denis
    Khacahturyan.

As Armenpress reports citing "IzRus" portal, Denis Khachaturyan is
engaged in preparation of the personnel serving the Israel's military
aircrafts and will be awarded for his outstanding contribution to the
education issue of the young specialists. The sergeant has immigrated
to Israel in 2011 from Armenia.

Denis Khachaturyan stressed that the decision of tying the life with
the army is connected with the history of his family. His grandma has
survived the Holocaust, first appearing in the Nazi labor camp and then
running away. The grandfather managed the personnel of the soviet tank,
which was the first to invade the Death Camp in Treblinka, Poland.
