ARAM SARGSYAN DWELLED ON THE REASONS OF LEAVING ARMENIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS

YEREVAN, MAY 15, AREMENPRESS: Aram Sargsyan chairman of the "
Republic" party will not run for 2013 Presidential Elections. As
Armenpres reports, in the "Post Scriptum" television program party
leader noted that presidential post is not the highest office in his
opinion. There are a range of occupations of no less importance.
Speaking about the relations with the Armenian National Congress (ANC)
Sargsyan told that throughout time the main perceptions of the ANC
and "Republic" party differed, which reportedly served a ground to
" Republic" party for leaving the ANC.
"I respect ANC stance. I voiced my point of view on this issue, ANC did
not oppose" the interlocutor noted. The First President disagreement
over the issue Sargsyan considers very natural. Though the people
more welcome the making of unions, party chairman is optimistic that
this separation will mark the beginning of some new union.
