TSAKHKADZOR SPORT GROUND HOSTS FOREIGN SWIMMERS

YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS: Tsakhkadzor main Olympic sport ground
pool also serves the need of foreign swimmers preparing for the
international competitions.
Armenia Swimming Federation head Igor Safaryan informed Armenpress
that on those days Armenian sportsmen jointly with the representatives
from Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic are launching training sessions
in Tsakhkadzor sport ground. They are preparing for the season's most
important international competitions, London Olympic Games inclusive.
Safryan assures Tsakhkadzor sport ground meets the demand of all
international standards, and it is already restores once most famous
international sport center reputation.
Tsaghkadzor is a spa town and a popular health resort in Armenia
located north of Hrazdan in the Kotayk Province (marz). The population
of 1,600 in 2009, is a decrease of more than half of the 3,400 reported
in the 1989 census.
