LARISA ALAVERDYAN: RUBEN HAYRAPETYAN SHOULD RETURN THE MANDATE

Where a crime is committed, it is not important if the area is
private or a state one, culprits should be responsible. A member
of the parliament, oligarch and the owner of Harsnaqar restaurant,
Ruben Hayrapetyan, should return his mandate especially if the society
demands that. He should do that stemming from the moral norms, even not
relying on legal norms, ex-deputy of the parliament from the opposition
Heritage party, Larisa Alaverdyan, said at today's press-conference.

"We have been dealing with the trained beasts which committed this
crime with special cruelty. The society should be consistent and trace
the process to the end. Only specific and consistent pressure of the
society will make it possible to gain fair verdict", she said.

For her part, singer Lilit Pipoyan added that such a tragedy may happen
in any family and if we unite, we shall be able to gain justice in
this process as well as in numerous similar processes.

To recall, the incident occurred at the Harsnaqar restaurant on June
17, where several military doctors including Edgar Mikoyan, Arkadi
Aghajanyan, Garik Soghomonyan, Artak Bayadyan and Vahe Avetyan were
brutally beaten by the restaurant employees, as a result5, the latter
    died on 29 June.

Criminal case was instigated. Police detained 8 people, including an
employee of security service of the restaurant, Garik Markaryan, who
was the most active when beating the military doctors. Earlier the
head of the Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan and Defence Minister
Seyran Ohanyan said that the guilty persons will be punished to the
    fullest extent of the law.
