EXTRACTION OF MINERALS TO BE REGISTERED DAILY IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN. - Companies extracting useful minerals in Armenia must
register the extracted and repaid minerals daily in special journals
from now on.
The registrations also indicate losses while processing the minerals.
The draft of such a decision will be submitted to the Government
seating on Wednesday. The decision is based on the Code 'On Subsoil',
adopted in November, 2011. For metallic deposits the registration
of recovered reserves is needed to calculate royalty. Regulations
apply to deposits of metallic and nonmetallic minerals, as well as
groundwater wells.
