    ARMENIAN FM TO LEAVE FOR INDONESIA, NEW ZEALAND, AUSTRALIA AND PHILIPPINES

    YEREVAN

    YEREVAN, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS: Foreign affairs minister of the
    Republic of Armenia on August 8-15 will visit Indonesia, New Zealand,
    Australia and Philippines. Armenpress was informed from Press,
    information and public relations department of the Armenian Foreign
    affairs ministry that in Asia-Pacific Ocean countries are planned
    the meetings of the head of Armenian Foreign minister with high-rank
    officials of above-mentioned countries during which will be discussed
    issues concerning the steps directed to the development of bilateral
    relations as well as international and regional issues.

    Australia recognised Armenia on 26 December 1991 and established
    diplomatic relations on 15 January 1992. Diplomatic Relations
    between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Indonesia were
    established on the 22nd September 1992. Diplomatic Relations between
    the Republic of Armenia and New Zealand were established on 6th June
    1992 by exchange of notes. Diplomatic relations between the Republic
    of Armenia and the Republic of the Philippines were established on
    the 20th May 1992.
