    AZERBAIJAN-TURKEY HIGH-LEVEL STRATEGIC COOPERATION COUNCIL'S MEETING STARTS

    Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in
    Azerbaijan in order to participate in the 2nd meeting of
    Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

    APA reports quoting 'Anadolu' press agency that Prime Minister of
    Turkey and Turkish delegation have flown to Gabala by plane and were
    welcomed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the First
    Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

    Turkish delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag,
    Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmad Davudoglu, Minister of Economy Zafar
    Caglayan, Minister of Transport, Seafaring and Connection Bineli
    Yildirim, Minister of Energy and Natural Reservation Taner Yidiz,
    Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz, the chairman of TICA Serdar Cam, deputy
    chairman of Justice and Development Party Omer Chelik and the co-chair
    of ACP parliamentary fraction Mustafa Elitash.

    Erdogan's spouse Emina Erdogan also arrived in Azerbaijan together
    with the delegation.

    Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan met behind the closed doors. The
    meeting lasted for an hour. All the ministers also carried out the
    discussions with their counterparts. Then the 2nd meeting of
    Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council embarked.

    Agreements in energy, transport, trade and media spheres are expected
    to be signed on the base of the meetings. The sides also discussed the
    stability established in the region and the peaceful solution of
    Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Then Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan
    will hold a joint press conference.

    The guests will visit the Azerbaijani historical region Shaki. Erdogan
    is expected to leave Baku for Ukraine after finishing his official
    visit to Azerbaijan.
