MP: NO ASSURANCE THAT ANY AUSTRALIAN STATE INFORMED OF EVENTS IN AZERBAIJAN

There is no assurance that any state of Australia has information
about the events taking place in Azerbaijan and the region, MP Azay
Guliyev told Trend, attitude toward the information released by the
Armenian media about the alleged recognition of separatist "Nagorno
Karabakh Republic" by Australian state of New South Wales.

The information released by the Armenian media about the alleged
recognition of separatist "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" by Australian
state of New South Wales is not true, Guliyev said.

This document is not associated with the recognition of the separatist
    "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

He noted that the Armenians, using the lack of information, are
working in the most remote parts of the world and try to deceive
representatives of central and local government, as well as individual
    leaders.

The Armenians by giving false and baseless facts are trying to convince
them that the alleged Nagorno-Karabakh is an independent state, and
they should support the right to self-determination of people living
    there, Guliyev said.

As for the legal side of the issue, it has no foundation and is
    illegal approach.

"No area can determine the right to self-determination of the
population of the other. There are norms of international law, UN
documents, and the Helsinki Final Act for this," Guliyev said.
