EDUARD SHARMAZANOV EXPECTS TURKMENISTAN'S NEUTRAL POSITION OVER NKR ISSUE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS: Vice President of Armenian National
Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov hosted Deputy Chairman of Mejlis of
Turkmenistan Kurbangul Bayramova on November 28. As Armenpress was
informed from the press service of Armenian NA, greeting the visit of
Mrs. Bayramova Eduard Sharmazanov highlighted the friendly relations
of the two states.
He highly estimated the level of bilateral relations and assured
that this visit would give a new impetus to the interaction in
different spheres. NA Vice President also referred to the activity
of interparliamentary friendly group and noted that its activation
would promote the further development of the cooperation.
Eduard Sharmazanov stressed the importance of Turkmenistan's neutral
position over many issues expecting the same position concerning NKR.
He also evaluated the kindness of Turkemnistan's government over
Armenians living there.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception Kurbangul Bayramova
considered relations of Armenia and Turkmenistan to be dynamic
and positively developing. She assured that the neutral policy of
Turkmenistan was unchangeable adding that the solution of the conflict
had to be found first of all by the sides involved in it.
