    20:06, 29 November, 2012

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS: Turkmen delegation led by President
Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov visited Mesrop Mashtots Institute of
Ancient Manuscripts, Matenadaran. Armenpress reports that Turkmen
delegation was guided by Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward
    Nalbandian.

"I am impressed by the manuscript heritage of Matenadaran.

Turkmenistan also has a very rich cultural heritage about 12 000
manuscripts which are being examined and restored. There is a great
possibility for the experience exchange" Berdymukhammedov said.

Turkmen President expressed his admiration with this regard especially
highlighting the gallery of oriental manuscripts.

Matenadaran gave a number of books to Turkmen President as a gift,
among which were Armenian and oriental miniature albums and various
medical books. In their turn Turkmen guests gifted to Matenadaran
    beautiful and high qualified carpets.
