PM Sargsyan participated in an exhibition dedicated to first Armenian
printed book 500th anniversary

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS: Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan's visit to Federal Republic of Germany is continuing. As
Information and Public Relations department of the Government informed
Armenpress, Tigran Sargsyan visited Mainz city, where Armenian high
ranking official had a meeting with State Chancellery of
Rhineland-Palatinate Kurt Beck.
In the course of the launched meeting Armenian Government head and
State Chancellery of Rhineland-Palatinate have touched upon issues
referring to the bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of
agriculture, exact instrument-making industry, tourism and
pharmaceutical industries. Prospects about the launch of joint
projects in small and medium enterprises have been envisaged by the
sides.
After the head of Armenian Executive Body participated in exhibition
dedicated to first Armenian printed book 500th anniversary hosted in
Germany Mainz city. PM Sargsyan walked round the exhibition, got
acquainted with the presented materials. Thanking Mayor of Mainz
Michael Ebling for the participation and for the support for the
realization of the initiative, Tigran Sargsyan noted it is honor for
him to attend similar exhibitions.
PM Sargsyan reminded current year Armenia is celebrating 500th
anniversary of first Armenian printed book and a range of events have
been kicked off for that purpose. ''It is symbolic those events are
being concluded in Mainz city, in a wonderful museum bearing the name
of the Johannes Gutenberg, German blacksmith, goldsmith, printer and
publisher who introduced printing to Europe'' Sargsyan underscored.
