DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY THOMAS MELIA WILL VISIT ARMENIA

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. In frames of the events organized by
the Embassy of the United States of America, which are dedicated to the
International Day of Human Rights, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State
of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Thomas Melia will pay a visit to
Armenia on December 13-15. In the framework of the visit Thomas Melia
will have meetings with a number of high officials of the Republic of
Armenia, political figures and representatives of the civil society,
and discuss issues regarding human rights and democracy. The Embassy
of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia informed
"Armenpress" about this.
Deputy Assistant Secretary Thomas Melia, who will arrive in Armenia
on December 13, is the official in the foreign administration o
the United States, who is responsible for a row of issues regarding
democracy and human rights in Europe and Central Asia.
