SERZH SARGSYAN HOSTED DELEGATION OF PRE-ELECTORAL OBSERVATION MISSION OF PACE AD HOC COMMITTEE

YEREVAN, JANUARY 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
hosted delegation of pre-electoral observation mission of PACE ad
hoc committee. As Armenpress was informed from the presidential press
office, during the meeting President noted that the membership of the
Council of Europe and the commitments of it were of crucial importance
for Armenia.
Interlocutors referred to the recent parliamentary and local government
elections of Armenia. Members of the delegation noted the elections
were an important step forwards. In President's words that was thanks
to the monitoring of the Council of Europe the elections succeeded and
in this regard President expressed his gratitude for the contribution
of organization highlighting willingness of Armenia to continue and
deepen cooperation with it. Serzh Sargsyan noted every effort would
be made in order to hold the best elections in the history of Armenia.
