"GREEN AND BLACK, KARABAKH DIARY" IS ALREADY AVAILABLE IN TURKISH

    18:58, 18 January, 2013

YEREVAN, JANUARY 18, ARMENPRESS: Several hundred copies of the book
"Karabakh Diary, Green and Black" written by journalist and
"Civilitas" expert Tatul Hakobyan have been published in Turkish in
    Yerevan.

Since August 2008 this book has had seven editions. "Karabakh Diary,
Green and Black" was published in Eastern and Western Armenian (with
classical orthography), Russian, English, and Arabic.

As Armenpress reports, Tiran Lokmagyozian translated "Karabakh Diary,
    Green and Black" into Turkish.

Tatul Hakobyan's second book, "Looking from Ararat: Armenians and
Turks" is published in Beirut in Western Armenian (with classical
orthography) and in Yerevan in Eastern Armenian. The book is now being
translated into English and would be published soon.

This year is the 25th anniversary of Artsakh movement, therefor this
is the first book about Artsakh history, war and negotiation process
written by Armenian author and translated into Turkish.

"Turkish reader has been always provided with the opportunity to be
aware of Nagorno-Karabakh war, tragic past of Armenian and Azerbaijani
people, negotiation process and the conflict, from Azerbaijani sources
as well. I don't claim for the title of true narrator, therefor I
really tried to be impartial. Whether I succeeded or not only the
reader and the time may say," writes Hakobyan in the preface of
Turkish book. Some parts of the translation related to the current
internal political situation of Armenia as well as other details
concerning the war have been omitted in order to be more available and
    fluent for Turkish reader.
