19 PROSECUTORS RECEIVED WARNINGS

According to the President's order of December 2011 the Prosecutor's
Office summed up the deficiencies and violation which happened during
the implementation of the order of National Assembly on "Declaration
of Amnesty for the 20th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence
of the Republic of Armenia".
In particular, the Department of Organization and Supervision of
the RA General Prosecutor's Office investigated the reasons of the
measures that were taken during the preliminary investigation and
the decisions of the court, the deficiencies that happened in the
process of the appeal of those cases and during the implementation
of the amnesty decisions, which was discussed during the December 21,
2012 meeting in the RA General Prosecutor's Office.
As the Advisor of the General Prosecutor informed, based on the
investigation 10 disciplinary proceedings and 10 examinations were
initiated, as a result of which 9 prosecutors received disciplinary
penalty and 19 were warned.
Based on the results of the discussions during the meeting the head
prosecutors of the regional and structural units were assigned to
pay a particular attention to the proper application of the amnesty
decisions, avoiding spatial or limited interpretation of legal norms.
