THE MAN BEAT HIS MOTHER FOR PENSION

52 years old Garnik Vardanyan in his apartment quarreled with his
mother, Lusik Vardanyan even hit her on head and various parts of
the body, causing life-threatening injuries. This is the conclusion
of the Police, based on the results of the preliminary investigation.
According to the same source the reason for the quarrel was the old
woman's pension and his son was complaining that she wasn't spending
money on family goods.
The incident happened on January 18, 2012 and in 20 day on February
8th, 2012 Lusik Vardanyan died. G. Vardanyan is charged with Article
112.2.14 of RA Criminal Code - Infliction of willful heavy damage to
health which caused the death of the aggrieved by negligence. The
signature of non-departure has been used as a preventive measure
against him.
The investigation of the case lasted for 10 months. The criminal case
was sent to court only on December 7, 2012.
