PROPERTY OF ARMENIA'S RUBBER FACTORY COULD BE AUCTIONED OFF

YEREVAN. - The matter of seizing the property of Nairit Rubber
Factory of Armenia is included in the duties of the Justice Ministry's
Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Orders (CESJO). Its chief,
Justice Major General Mihran Poghosyan stated this during a press
conference on Friday.
The ArmRusGazprom Company and VTB Bank (Armenia) have filed a petition
against Nairit toward the seizure of its property. The total debt is
about 1.5 billion drams (approx. $3,685,370).
As per the CESJO chief, they are attempting to design graphics so
that Nairit is able to gradually repay debts, since the activities
of this plant greatly impact the economic system of Armenia.
