ARMENIANS IN TURKEY RETURN TO THEIR ROOTS AFTER DINK'S MURDER

    09:35, 29 January, 2013

YEREVAN, JANAURY 29, ARMENRPESS. A new procedure launched in turkey
after Hrant Dink's martyrdom. The disguised Armenians living in
various parts of Turkey return back to their roots. Lebanese-Armenian
writer and publicist Sago Arian stated this in a conversation with
    "Armenpress".

The Diaspora writer is confident that Hrant Dink's death was not
meant to give lessons. Simply, those Armenians, who used to conceal
their nationality, return to their roots after his martyrdom. Sago
Arian stated: "Presently people in Cilicia, Tigranakert, Istanbul
and a number of other cities declare that they are Armenians, but
they had to keep it in secret."

In his opinion Dink gave a new incentive to the issues regarding the
Armenian cause. Among other things Arian noted: "We must approach
the issue appropriately and find right options. The matter is that
an Armenian is being killed in Turkey and the Turk publicly shows
that he can murder the Armenians and we must find right solutions to
support the Armenians, as there is a number of Armenians living in
    the Western Armenia."

6 years have passed after the assassination of the prominent Armenian
journalist from Istanbul, chief editor of "Agos" weekly Hrant Dink.

Hrant Dink was shot dead in Shishli district of Istanbul on January
    19, 2007.
