PUTIN SIGNS LAW ON AMENDMENTS IN ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN AGREEMENT ON PREVENTING DOUBLE TAXATION

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 4, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Russian
Federation Vladimir Putin signed the law ratifying amendments in
the agreement on preventing double taxation of income and property
between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation. As
reports "Armenpress" citing the official website of the President
of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation
ratified this law on January 18 and the Federal Council passed it on
January 23. The federal law approves amendments for the agreement
on preventing double taxation of income and property between the
Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation and its attached
protocols dated to December 28, 1996.

In order to avoid the raise of the tax control and tax payments abuse
the new law adds 12.1 article on "Income from Property Alienation",
as well as stipulates amendments in 25 article and 26 article on
"Exchange of Information".
