ARMENIAN ACTIVISTS CRASH EUROPEAN OBSERVERS' NEWS CONFERENCE

YEREVAN. - The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe
(OSCE) and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human
Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) news conference-which was devoted to the results
of Monday's presidential election in Armenia-was cancelled.

A group of activists broke into the news conference hall, once
the event had kicked off, and they flopped the gathering, Armenian
    News-NEWS.am reporter informs.

A female activist read aloud a text, in which it was noted that
Monday's vote was marred with election violations and the European
observers have no right to approve the results of this election.

The security personnel attempted to remove activist, but they were
unable because her fellow supporters surrounded her and did not allow
for her to be taken out.

As a result, the observation mission representatives left the news
    conference hall.

Also, the protesters were shouting, "Go home!"

To the news reporters' query as to who they are, the protesters noted
that they are Armenian citizens who demand that the European observers
leave Armenia and not approve the results of the unlawful election.
