    INCUMBENT PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN HAS BEEN RE-ELECTED

    07:00, 19 February, 2013

    YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS: Central Electoral Commission
    of Armenia announced the results of presidential elections by 1988
    polling stations. Results have been concluded and according to them
    incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan has received 58.64% of votes.

    As reports Armenpress by 07:00 am results are as follows:

    Hrant Bagratyan- 31 643 votes (2,15%),

    Paruyr Hayrikyan- 18 093 votes (1,23%),

    Raffi Hovhannisyan-539 672 votes (36,75%),

    Andreas Ghukasyan- 8 328 votes (0,57%),

    Arman Melikyan - 3 516 votes (0,24%),

    Serzh Sargsyan- 861 160 votes (58,64%)

    Vardan Sedrakyan -6 203 votes (0,42%).

    60.05 percent of the voters, that's to say 1,518,407 citizens, have
    participated in the votes.

    This is already the sixth time the Armenian citizens participate in
    presidential elections. The total number of the voters included in the
    voters' register of the Republic of Armenia is 2.505.980. There were
    seven candidates running for president in the Republic of Armenia. The
    results of the presidential elections will be summed up on February.
