President Viktor Yanukovych is confident of development of cooperation
with Armenia on the basis of friendship and mutual understanding.

The press service of the president of Ukraine announced this in a
statement, citing a congratulatory message to Armenia's President
    Serzh Sargsyan on his re-election.

"I am convinced that the bilateral cooperation between the two
countries will continue to develop on the solid foundation of
friendship and mutual understanding," said Yanukovych.

Yanukovych wished his Armenian counterpart good health and further
success and wished the Armenian people prosperity.
Sargsyan won more than 58% of the votes in the Armenian presidential
    elections held on February 18.
