KARVACHAR-SOTK HIGHWAY BECAME ALMOST IMPASSABLE

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. All the Armenian highways and
mountain passes of interstate and republican significance are mainly
passable. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of
Armenia informed "Armenpress" that rime covered certain parts of the
highways of the Republic of Armenia by 15:00, February 25.
Karvachar-Sotk highway has become almost impassable.
In accordance with the information of the Department of Emergency
Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the
Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all the types of vehicles.
In order to secure the traffic the highways are being worked out by
salt and sand. The cleaning of the roads is in progress.
