DEMIRCHYAN: PRESENT GOVERNMENT AND FAIR ELECTIONS ARE INCOMPATIBLE

During today's parliamentary briefings, member of ANC parliamentary
group Stepan Demirchyan noted that the February 18 election was another
one in the series of rigged elections. He says it was predictable
because the present government and fair elections are incompatible.
Demirchyan noted that on February 18, the Armenian society rejected
the regime during which poverty, emigration and social problems
increased in the country. According to him, people said "no" to fraud,
the criminal oligarchic system. He underlined that post-electoral
events prove that people are not going to yield. They want changes
by a government elected by people, said Stepan Demirchyan.
