NAGORNO-KARABAKH LAUNCHES FREE SITE WITH LEGAL INFORMATION
YEREVAN, April 29. / ARKA /. Nagorno-Karabakh's justice ministry has
launched a website offering free legal information to citizens. The
website located at www.arlexis.am was presented in Stepanakert by
justice minister Ararat Danielian, who said availability of information
is the right of all citizens guaranteed by the Constitution.
"It is very important that our citizens are able to obtain information
about their rights and duties without any restrictions," he said.
According to him, this system will ensure transparency and
accessibility of existing legislation, and ultimately contribute to
raising the international prestige of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
The search system includes laws and legal regulations of NKR.
The website that hosts 1,193 legal documents is available in Armenian,
but in the near future the laws will also be available in English and
Russian languages. They are also available on a CD. The website was
designed with the assistance from the Armenian ministry of justice
and Armenia-based company called Official Handbook. -0-
