    VICTORY IS NEAR

ACNIS expert, historian Saro Saroyan dwelt on the transport fare
increase in a conversation with Lragir.am. Asked why this increase
caused civil disobedience, while a lot of things had already increased
in price before, Saroyan said that the transport price is a daily issue
unlike the gas price, when the citizen finds out how the gas price
increase affected them at the end of the month when paying the bill.

The second reason according to him is the feeling of collective pain
which lacks in case of the gas price increase when you are alone
with your family to solve deal with it. In case of transport price,
people having the same issue, meet directly and communicate.

The third reason is that youths are engaged in concrete activities.

Since schools and universities are closed, everyone has more time
    and is not constrained.

Besides, Saro Saroyan says that civil activists seem to use their
resources and possibilities more rationally and have a better
    organization.

As to the statements of the regime that this process is supported
by some forces, Saro Saroyan says that they are natural reactions
because they don't know what to answer so they use the same statements.

He says that now citizens create the agenda and the regime is unable
    to reach them.

Saro Saroyan does not doubt the citizens' victory. Since all layers
of the society and the intellectuals are engaged. The victory is near,
    he noted.
