HOW MUCH GOLD AND SILVER IS EXTRACTED IN ARMENIA?

YEREVAN. - In 2012, a total of 2,896 kilograms of gold and 22.2 tons of
silver was mined inArmenia, informs the National Statistical Service.
As compared to 2011, the extraction of gold in Armeniaincreased by
5.8 percent, whereas that of silver dropped by about 12 percent.
In addition, 10,700 tons of zinc, 6,500 tons of molybdenum, and 52,500
tons of copper were mined in Armeniain the year past.
