Baku - APA. Armenian-captured Azerbaijani soldier Firuz Farajov has
said he wants to return to homeland, first deputy defense minister of
Armenia David Tonoyan said during the meeting with the International
Red Cross Committee's official Dragan Rankovich, APA reports citing
    Armenian media.

The Azerbaijani soldier was captured by Armenians in July of 2012.

Recently, Armenian media reported that Farajov wants to go to a
    third country.

Defense Ministry's secretary Artsrun Ovannisyan noted that Firuz
Farajov wanted to urgently meet with the representatives of the
international humanitarian organizations. The ministry invited the
neutral international organizations, in particular the International
Red Cross Committee to meet with Farajov. The case of Akop Injigulyan,
who crossed the part of frontline controlled by Azerbaijani servicemen
on August 8, was also discussed at the meeting with Committee's
representative. Rankovich said Baku delegation of the International Red
Cross Committee would soon fix the date of the meeting with Injigulyan.
