APRICOT EXPORT VOLUME INCREASED FOR 84 PERCENT

YEREVAN, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS. The purveyance activity for 2013
came to its end in the republic. The Public Relations Department
of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia informed
"Armenpress" that the purveyance volume of the current year exceeded
the purveyance volume of the previous year for 47 percent 28 relevant
companies purveyed 13.044 tons of apricot.
This number equaled to 8.855 tons in 2012. The apricot export volume
set record this year. 29 relevant companies and 514 individual
entrepreneurs exported approximately 23.240 tons of apricot from
the Republic of Armenia. 19.810 tons of apricot were exported to the
Russian Federation, 2.593 tons to Georgia, 668 tons to Ukraine.
The total volume of apricot export exceeded the relevant results of
the previous year for 84 percents.
