    Interfax, Russia
    Nov 14 2013

    YEREVAN. Nov 14

The planned meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the
settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is meant to guarantee the
continuity of talks, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian has said.

"The purpose of the meeting is to guarantee dialogue and continuity
of the negotiating process," he said during "parliamentary hour"
    on Wednesday.

Answering a question from deputies what can be expected of the meeting
of Serzh Sargsian and President Ilham Aliyev the prime minister said:
"The information available now is that an understanding on the meeting
has been reached. We don't have any new information that would arouse
    optimism."

After negotiating the matter with Sargsian and Aliyev at the beginning
of November cochairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group said that the two
presidents agreed to meet during this month after an interval of
    almost two years.

The Armenian newspaper Hraparak on Wednesday reported that the two
presidents may meet in Vilnius or Zurich on November 19.

There has been no official information about the date or place of
    the top-level meeting so far.
