    Oh my dearest Simon,
I just read the issue you have so wisely and kindly released about
    the
Tutundjian family tragedy... I feel sadder than ever, inconsolably
    so. All
I can do is sob silently.
Obviously my prayers, and that of their friends, and the prayers of
    the one
and half million innocent Armenians on their way to Calvary in the
    deserts
of Der Zor, counted for nothing at the court of the Heavenly Lord...
Moments like this turns us all thinking and feeling people into sad
    atheists!
Yours ever Prof. Pilikian - England

REMEMBERING OUR TEAM-MATE AND FRIEND HAGOP TUTUNDJIAN

Hagop Tutundjian (center in the black shirt with beard, holding the
    Trophy)
was the star goal-keeper of AYMA football team for a decade.
One of our sweetest victories are associated with his courage
    and
exceptional skills as a goal-keeper in the finals of the Cyprus
    Amateur
Football Cup. After we had given everything on the football ground
    for 90
minutes and 30 minutes in goalless extra time, our hopes were hanging
    from
    our goal-keeper, Hagop Tutundjian.
His golden fingers saved the fifth and final shot of a penalty
shoot-out that gave the Cup to the Armenian team, after it had won
    the
    Championship weeks earlier.
Hundreds stormed the pitch who lifted Hagop on their shoulders.
    He had
literally saved the day for all of us.
We will remember you always. How can we forget our sweetest memories?
YOUR TEAM-MATES OF THE THE CHAMPION - WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM OF AYMA
    1977 -
    1978.

Hilda (left in the picture) and Hagop (far right) were founding
members of the Armenian Dance Ensemble of Hamazkayin that gave its
    first
    performance on March 11, 1978.
In the picture on the right, they are seen dancing a Greek
    khasapiko.
Hilda was a member of the Sourp Asdvadzadzin Church Choir that
    also
    performed on the same day.
    It was also Hilda's birthday.

Your friends of the Hamazkayin Dance Ensemble will miss you and

    Dear Simon,
It's really difficult to find words and express the tragic death of
Tutunjian Family. How can this happen? Why? I just heard this was
    their
first trip as family and Baret's first experience with airplane...
    Its
    really shocking.
May God rest their Soul in peace.
Attached is a picture I want to add into their album. This might be
    Hagop's
last picture, taken during Nor Serount Lernaknatsutiun on 12/6/05.
