TURKEY RETURNS PROPERTIES TO ARMENIAN COMMUNITY

    World Bulletin, Turkey
    Feb 7 2014

Turkey is beginning to return properties that were seized from the
Armenian community in the early period of the republic's establishment.

Turkey has returned some non-transferable properties that were
seized in the early period of the republic's establishment back to
    the Armenian community.

Following the decision of the umbrella organization for foundations in
the country, a 42,000 meters squared land was returned to the Yedikule
Surp Pirgic Hospital Foundation in Istanbul's Zeytinburnu district.

The Armenian community also had a building returned to them in the
Beyoglu area after filing a case to the European Human Rights Court.
