Paris mayor candidate: Turkey can't join EU without recognizing

Paris mayor candidate Anne Hidalgo from the leading Socialist party
announced that Turkey would not be able to join the European Union as
it did not recognize Armenian Genocide.
As Turkish media inform, the politician said: "It is a precondition
for me without which Turkey can not join the EU".
The mayor candidate also reminded that she was for the law of
criminalizing the Genocide denial and Pres. Hollande promised to
accept a bill which "will not be denied by the Constitutional
council".
"Dramatic and tragic history denial will not let create something
new", Idalgo said.
She underlined that if she is elected as Paris mayor, the events
devoted to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide, will be
continued.
