He skied his first slope at age two. And now, Arman Serebrakian, a
second-year Temple medical student and world-class alpine skier, is
headed to Sochi to compete in the 2014 World Olympic Games.

"Thank you for your support," said Arman to Kathleen Reeves, MD,
Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and Gerald Sterling, PhD, Senior
Associate Dean for Education, when the Olympic teams were announced.
"This is truly one of the best moments of my life -- and I am happy to
share it with my Temple family."

Arman has been the world's top-ranked Armenian alpine ski racer for
the past seven years. During his undergraduate days at the University
of Colorado, he accrued four top-10 NCAA finishes.

A dual citizen, Arman plans on going into surgery.

Congratulations, Arman! We are rooting for you.
