ARAZ AZIMOV: "THERE IS NO DYNAMICS IN THE NEGOTIATIONS"

"Armenia will likely be obliged to change its position after finding
    itself in hopeless situation"

Baku. Viktoria Dementeva - APA. "There is no dynamics in the
negotiations at all," Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz
    Azimov told journalists, APA reports.

Commenting on the negotiations underway with Armenia on Nagorno
Karabakh conflict, Araz Azimov said first of all, the question was
whether Armenia was really ready to solve the problem.

"Azerbaijan does not change its position. Azerbaijan remains committed
to its principled position. Azerbaijan's President expressed his
principled position both before and after the Vienna meeting," he said.

Azimov said the process of discussions consisting of principally
separate meetings had not produced any result yet.

"But Azerbaijan claims its rights in accordance with the international
legal norms and principles, UN Security Council resolutions and
has repeatedly declared it. Condition should be formed to solve the
conflict. Armenia will likely be obliged to change its position after
finding itself in hopeless situation," he said.

Asked about the next meeting of the presidents, Araz Azimov said
there was nothing new regarding it.
