    The Voice of Russia
    April 4 2014

Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree on accepting the
resignation of the Government, a statement on the official government
website said on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.

Under the presidential decree of April 3 the government members
are instructed to continue their duties until the new government
    is established.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, who headed the government
since April 9, 2008, submitted his appeal on resignation late on
    Thursday.

Both the government and the ruling Republican party accepted the
resignation. Under the Armenian Constitution the President of the
Republic has now ten days to name a new Prime Minister.

The Government is to be formed within 20 days after a Prime Minister
    is appointed.
