Pressure of peoples' right to self-determination brings to
catastrophic consequences: Serzh Sargsyan

YEREVAN, MAY 8, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has clearly stated that the
referendum held in the Crimea is
another example of the realization of the peoples' right to
self-determination through free will. The President
of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan reiterates this position of
Armenia at the non-formal meeting
with the Presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan,
held today in Moscow.
As `Armenpress' was informed from the Department of Public Relations
and Mass Media of the President's Office, Serzh Sargsyan noted that
"nevertheless, we are extremely concerned about the growing violence
in Ukraine, including the events in Odessa, Slaviansk, Kramatorsk and
other regions. We are much troubled with the created situation,
including the fact that there are more than half a million Armenians
living there.
