Croatia: Members of "Lumens" returned from Armenia

    Zagreb

City of Ludbreg, Government of Croatia has issued the following news resales:

As part of the EU Youth in Action, whose last project completion these
days, members of Lumen's been successfully completed and the last
third partnership project, the seminar "Social entrepreneurship in
youth work" ("Social entrepreneurship in youth work"). This project
was held in the historic village of Tatev Armenian at 1600 m above sea
level, located less than 100 kilometers from the Iranian border. The
project was attended by 26 representatives of associations and young
entrepreneurs from ten states and LUMEN and Croatia was represented by
President Ludbreske association of young enthusiasts (LUMEN) Igor
Dobec Ludbreški young entrepreneur Mario Ljubicic and Faithful
    Filippi, Chairman korčula league.

Tatev is not a random choice for the venue of the project, namely to
place the beginning of Armenian Christian history, with a monastery
dating from the 4th century, which is in its medieval peak visited
hundreds of priests and pilgrims. Due to mass emigration from rural
areas, today the monastery is only one priest, and the population of
Tatev is decreased in the last decade with more than a thousand to 370
with a desire to connect this isolated place 2010. Tatev was put into
operation the longest lift in the world (5780 meters).

The sole aim of the project was to exchange experiences and potential
of social entrepreneurship as a driver of youth employment, training
participants to realize their projects in the field of social
entrepreneurship, and long-term cooperation between the parties and
associations involved in this seminar. As a result, the participants
started with development ideas that will be directly implemented in
Tatev and in the cities and countries they come from. LUMEN is in this
project proved to be an association that is very desirable partner,
and have agreed to the project partnership and future projects that
will soon be implemented in Ludbregu and around the new EU program
    ERASMUS +.
