Amman, 29 October -Prime Minister Abdallah al-Nusur on Wednesday 29
[October] held talks with Armenian President Serge Sargsyan on ways
to advance relations between Jordan and Armenia as well as the latest
    developments in the Middle East.

The prime minister stressed that there are promising opportunities to
increase the scope of cooperation between the two countries, noting
that a number of agreements that the two sides inked today will push
    cooperation forward.

He said he will order all state institutions to implement these
agreements in the best possible way and to encourage ministers to
    communicate with their Armenian counterparts.

Ensour noted that one of the most important deals signed today was the
one designed to upgrade cooperation in tourism, especially since Jordan
has an abundance of tourist and religious places such as the Baptism
site and the Armenian Church, which will open on Friday [31 October].

The prime minister said the sense of security and stability that
Jordan enjoys and its location in the heart of the Middle East could
be a starting point for Armenia to access the region's markets.
