FOUR-MONTH BABY SURVIVES ATTACK ON FAMILY IN ARMENIA'S GYUMRI - TV
YEREVAN, January 12. /ARKA/. A four-month baby survived an armed
attack on a family in Gyumri, Armenia, Shant TV channel reports. All
the members of the family but this baby were shot dead Monday morning.
The baby is in a hospital now.
There were reportedly seven people in the Avetisyans' house at the
moment of the assault - father, mother, their son with his wife and
their daughter with two children.
A correspondent of the TV channel reports that the police of Shirak
province are on the scene now.
There are also representatives of the provincial prosecutor office
and the Russian military unit in Armenia, since the police supposed
the attacker was a Russian officer who ran away from the unit.
