    LAKE SEVAN LEVEL DECREASED BY 1.5 CM DURING JANUARY 2015

    During January 2015 the level of Lake Sevan decreased by 1.5 cm and
    made up 1900.115 m, the shift in the level accounted for 0.050 meters
    from 31.01.2014 to 31.01.2015, as www.mes.am website informs.

    In January the water flowing into Lake Sevan accounted for 69.3 million
    cum, while outlet - 74.1 million cum, which resulted in the reduction
    of the lake water by 4.8 million cum.

    The water flown into Lake Sevan through rivers made up 36.7 million
    cum, which makes up 99%, the amount of precipitation on the lake
    surface made up 22.3 million cum, which makes up 100% of the standard,
    the underground flow made up 7.9 million cum, including 2.43 million
    cum through Arpa-Sevan tunnel. The water outlets are as follow:
    0.00 million cum through Hrazdan River, lake surface evaporation -
    72.9 million cum, which makes up 115% of the standards and 1.2 million
    cum of the underground flow.
