    EEU FINANCIAL MARKET ISSUES DISCUSSED IN YEREVAN

    YEREVAN, April 3. /ARKA/. The advisory committee on financial markets
    of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board started discussions on
    financial issue in Armenia.

    Member of the Armenian central bank board Armenak Darbinyan said a
    wide range of financial market issues will be discussed during the
    meeting in Yerevan, including exchange of information between banking
    systems of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states.

    The meeting is attended by country members of the advisory committee
    from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

    The meeting will consider the plans on harmonization of laws in
    financial sector and the respective agreements on financial markets
    and stock brokers.

    Armenia will submit a draft document for joining the agreement on
    exchange of information, including the confidential financial data,
    to ensure free movement of capital.

    The meeting participants will also discuss the preliminary results
    from a special working group looking into possibility of a single
    car insurance system and re-insurance capacities of EEU member states.

    The working group on currency regulations and control within the EEU
    will speak about the current status and prospects of cooperation on
    credit histories and exchange of the respective information between
    EEU member states.

    The meeting will discuss the 2015-2016 science and research plan of
    the financial policy department at the end.

    The Eurasian Economic Commission is an EEU regulatory body. Armenia
    became a full-fledged member of the EEU in January 2015. -0--
