    The Wrestling European men and women championship will be held in
    Moscow on April 23. At first women will meet each other and then men in
    free style contest and finally the Greek - Roman meeting will be held.

    The Armenian team of free style is now in Sochi where it takes its
    last training before the Championship.

    Armenia will be presented in the free style contest by Vahan Simonyan
    (55kg), Armen Karapetyan (60kg), the World Youth ex champion and the
    European champion Suren Markosyan (66kg), the World Youth Championship
    bronze winner Harutyun Enokyan (74kg) or the European champion Ruslan
    Kokajev invited from Russia, Vadim Laliev (84kg), Shamil Gritinjov
    (96kg) and Ruslan Basiegho in heavyweight category.

    The Greek - Roman team will participate in the following personnel;
    the World Youth champion and double bronze winner of European adult
    championship Roman Amoyan (55kg), the World Championship silver
    winner, the European champion and bronze winner Karen Mnatsakanyan
    (60kg), Armenian multiple champion, the winner of many international
    tournaments Vahram Hunanyan (66kg), Mkhitar Hunanyan (74kg), Tigran
    Sahakyan (84kg) and the World Youth silver winner Robert Petrosyan
    (96kg), the World Championship 3rd prize winner and European double
    champion Juri Patrikeev (120kg).

    The chief coach of the Armenian team Levon Dgulfalakyan informed us
    that the Armenian sportsmen are well trained and if the fate smiles at
    us they will return with good results from Moscow. As for the Russian
    sportsmen's participation he said, "They have serious problem with
    their passports and it is not known yet whether they will be able to
    solve their problem by the Championship or not."
