ARAM KARAPETIAN SURE THAT RF AUTHORITIES TO DO THEIR BEST TO LIFT BLACK BOXES OF PERISHED ARMENIA PLANE

YEREVAN, MAY 22, NOYAN TAPAN. The political authorities of Russia
will do their best to lift from the Black Sea ground and interpret
the black boxes of the A-320 damaged plane of the Armenian "Armavia"
company. Aram Karapetian, the Chairman of the "Nor Zhamanakner"
(New Times) party expressed such an opinion at the May 19 meeting
with journalists. According to him, the authorities of Russia
undertand that if the truth is not presented, it will give cause for
speculations. Responding the Noyan Tapan correspondent's question,
if the Russian side does not deliberately obstacle lifting of the
black boxes, Karapetian mentioned that he has had the same opinions
as well by the recent times, but the situation strictly changed two
days ago, and now the Russian side does its best in the direction of
finding out the real reasons of the crash and making them public. The
politician did not mention the source of such information and
the reason of changing the Russian side's orientation. He stated
that he as well saw a mutually agreed tendendy of the sides to
hide something, what, according to Karapetian, was a result of an
agreement reached among some people, but not a result of a state
policy. The circumstance was incomprehensible for him, that only
Serge Sargsian, the Secretary of the RA National Security Council
attached to President, the Defence Minister, who was not accompanied
by no official responsible for the given sphere, left for the place
of the accident from Armenia. According to Aram Karapetian, the "Nor
Zhamanakner" holds its own investigation results of which will be made
public soon. He mentioned that according to specialists' estimations,
even if the Russian flying control officer gave wrong instructions,
in the case of absence of an emergency case, the plane would be able
to fly higher again and make a circle.
To recap, in the statement made on the same day, RF Transport Minister
Igor Levitin considered possible that the black boxes would not
be found.
